I wasn’t sure my message would reach you. Abbi is good at following instructions, but with everything happening in Lovely, you never know. Abbi and I go way back. We’ve been friends since high school, and my mom was close with her before she died.

Anyway, I’m rambling. Let’s get to why you’re here.

By now, you know Grace was murdered. That brings the murder count to four. Detectives seem sure the same person killed all of them, and people in Lovely are terrified. If this killer isn’t caught before next Fourth of July, I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole town ends up on lockdown.

There are things Danny couldn’t tell the detectives. He was afraid the information would get back to Bianca, and he could lose his partnership or even go to jail. He also couldn’t admit where he was that night because my father and Danny do not get along, and that would create even more problems.

The Irish Pub should be Danny’s. Everyone knows that. The business is doing incredibly well, especially after he added rooftop dining, but Bianca is never there. Danny knows the profits are supposed to be shared with her at the end of the year, so he spends the money as “business expenses” and shows no profit.

Bianca and Danny used to date before Danny was with Dolly. I found pictures of them together. Their breakup was bad, and I think Bianca was cheating on Danny with Henry. After that, they only kept things civil because of Dolly, and then because of the business.

I know all of this makes Danny look guilty, which is why I needed to get this message to you.

But Danny did not kill Grace.

He couldn’t tell the detectives he was with me because of my dad, but he was. I never left his side.
